Project48 based in Sydney, Australia is a joint venture between the 48 Hour Festival inc a non for profit organisation and FilmMakers Australia. Project48 is responsible for the management & marketing of 3 events including Project48 FilmFest, Project48 EcoFilm and Project48 Machinima These events are brought to you on behalf of the Parent Organisation 48 Hour Film Project which is based in the USA. More information on each event is as follows:
Project48 FilmFest is a wild and sleepless weekend in which you and a team make a movie—write, shoot, edit and score it—in just 48 hours. On Friday night, you get a character, a prop, a line of dialogue and a genre, all to include in your movie. 48 hours later, the movie must be complete.
